Ticket rules 2008 - 09
YOU MUST BE A BRANCH MEMBER AND HAVE A LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB FAN CARD REGISTERED WITH THE BRANCH TO RECEIVE TICKETS
Unsold tickets will be returned to LFC. They will not be touted out.
The ticketing arrangements & selling details can be found on our ticket forum.
Ticket & travel information can be found on the info site on this web site.
For premiership home games, members must apply and pay for tickets no later than 9 weeks before the fixture date.
Travel costs must be paid at the same time as your ticket payment is made. No payment, no ticket.
For family tickets, only the one family member need apply for tickets. It is not necessary for a couple of juniors to have to register on the forum to get a ticket to sit next to their dad.
For husband/wife wanting tickets only one need register, apply, attend & pay for tickets.
Regarding "non family" adults who normally group together they should register on the forum, apply separately, attend the meeting & pay in person.
Any members booking tickets on-line who fail to pay on time at the meeting looses the ticket.
As an incentive for using the forum, ticket sales will be initially be posted on the forum-line.
How we apportion priority in the event of demand outstripping supply
An attendance register will be introduced for the new season which will give loyalty to those who attend the meetings on a more regular basis. However as the forum remains our main source of information then the selling of tickets on the forum will continue as per last season.
Loyality will also include number of games attended.
If games are oversubscribed initially (i.e. before Game Loyalty has chance to naturally establish itself) the committee will endeavour to ensure a fair distribution of tickets
Nathan will find out from T.O how they allocate us 20 tickets if we have asked for 30. i.e which of the 20 gets the ticket allocated to their fan card.
Depending on the answer & in the event of over subscribing, loyalty for these games will be based on number of points awarded.
All ticket applications must made & paid for in person.
Getting tickets for your mates ain’t done.
If any member posts an apology and a genuine reason why they cannot attend the meeting then they will be awarded their “meeting” point at the discretion of the committee (i.e. won't apply to persistent offenders)
If they want tickets for a game that is on sale at that meeting then they need to be represented by another member who must also pay for the tickets if the money is requested.
Having paid for a ticket and coach travel, a person cannot go to the game (genuine or otherwise). Does that person get a refund?
If the ticket gets resold to another member then a refund is given because we cannot get two payments for one ticket. That is unethical and wrong.
In the unlikely event of a ticket not getting resold then the person does not get a refund.
The £10 coach fare should be paid up front at the same time as the ticket money, however the £10 is NOT refundable regardless of the situation.
We are asking for the £10 to be paid at the same time as the ticket payment because -
1) no confusion on the bus on who has paid and who hasnt paid
2) its unfair that we have to collect & store money on the bus or on our persons on match day.
3) No arguments over refunds.
Just as a reminder, one of the first ever rules set by the original committee was that we do not sell tickets only. Its a combined ticket & seat but if you want to DIY travel then fine but you still pay the £10.
Any organised games which use a minibus in place of a coach will still require the travel costs to be paid in advance along with the cost of the ticket.
Collecting money on a coach/minibus is not an option.
THE CARRYING & CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL ON ANY ORGANISED TRAVEL BY THIS BRANCH IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. ANYONE WHO BREAKS THIS RULE WILL FACE AN IMMEDIATE AND LIFE TIME BAN FROM THE CLUB.
Even though it is your name on the ticket, they are ordered in the name of this branch and any change in situation regarding your ticket must be discussed with our ticket master. This branch will not tolerate touting & selling on of tickets by members.
Side note: Whilst it is currently not a rule, the use of the forum just to order a match ticket is not in the spirit of things which is why we do encourage members participation in the forum.
Making one post to order one ticket is no different to attending only the meetings that have tickets for sale.
This situation will be monitored and if necessary and if in the best interest of the branch, changed.
Clarification on Branch involvement in tickets and transport for CL Home games
If you miss two games in a row then at the committee’s discretion the branch will not apply for any more tickets for you for that competition. You must apply for them independently of the branch.
The minibus will be capped at 15 members on board.
If more then 15 have tickets for the CL games then seats will be offered Based on the amount of times you traveled with the branch to CL games in the 2006/2007 season.
Those who do not have the loyalty will have to make their own transport arrangements.
Payment details for cup games will be included on the forum thread for each fixture.
Any current rules not overridden by the above remains in place.
Committee decision is final, power to amend as necessary.
