Mike welcomed members to the meeting & requested that phones be put on silent – (A railway club rule).

The attendance register was sent around with a reminder that members should only sign themselves in, not family members not in attendance.

Raffle
The raffle prize tonight was a signed photo of John Aldridge and an LFC mug.

Minutes discussed & matters arising from the last meeting.
The departure time for the Arsenal coach is 09:30 The cost of the coach is £12 adults & £6 children.
Outstanding payments must be made tonight.

The ticket office has informed us that they do not reply & confirm to our request for branch tickets.
The only way we know if our application has been successful is by checking your own fan card history 6 weeks before kick off. For the small number of members who do not have access to a PC, we can check on your behalf if you wish.

All members, not just new members must complete a branch membership form & include your fan card number.

A question regarding Anfield hospitality was asked at the last meeting.
I contacted LFC and got the following response regarding the Cardiff game.
Hospitality in the reds lounge is £47 which includes a ticket and use of the pay bar.
Hospitality in the executive lounge is £110 which includes a ticket and a 5 course meal.
You do not need loyalty on your fan card to obtain a ticket.
Attending a hospitality game does not guarantee you that the game will be recorded on your fan card, although you can request this when you book the hospitality.

Ticket masters report –

 The Bolton & Fulham games have been sorted and the list is now closed.
The Cardiff game is on October 31st and no loyality is requested so a “LFC” free for all is in operation and names were requested tonight.Payment by October 16 th please.

The Man Utd game will be an “LFC loyalty” game but as yet we don’t know which games are the loyalty games, possibly Birmingham & one other, but names were requested tonight.Payment by October 13 th please.

Portsmouth game on sale tonight. Payment by October 20 th.

Wigan game on sale tonight. Payment by October 30 th.

The list of who is going to the Besiktas game will be those who went to the Marseille game.
Payment by October 13 th please.

Please note that organised travel is not guaranteed for these games as we don’t know numbers so please be prepared to organise your own travel.

Daniel Pugh is the mascot for the away game at Derby County & we are trying to get additional tickets but no luck as yet.
We are going to approach the Hereford times to see if we can get a photo of Daniel & some publicity for the branch.

Details were given regarding the concert at Anfield Stadium on 01/06/2008 .
Quote - This once-in-a-lifetime concert to celebrate Liverpool 's unrivalled status as the World's Capital of pop, rock and contemporary music will be a global event.
The concert will be headlined by Sir Paul McCartney and his band and will also feature, live on stage, global superstars of popular music, Ticket Prices: Reserved Seating £35 - £75.
If enough members are interested then we would look to arrange a coach.

Members were reminded that there is a link to the train timetable on forum & also directions to ground for those who are driving independently.

A newsletter will be published for the Arsenal game & material is requested from members.

Feedback on the LFC channel was discussed. A lot of programs are repeated which seems to be the norm for sat tv but the programs are interesting.
