BRANCH MEETING
New Committee apologies: None
Non attendees : None
In attendance: Mike, Nathan ,Kevin,Derren,Mark, Pete
A normal branch meeting followed the AGM and a further three ballots took place.
Firstly it was agreed that Ronnie Whelan was first choice on a date of Friday Sept 14th and the Railway club had been reserved subject to RW’s confirmation.
Hopefully this will work out ok so for the next function we will invite Gary Mac.
Secondly, Jamie Carragher was voted the branch player of the year and LFC will be informed of our decision.
A vote on “do we stop at the raven” did not take place because in previous discussions it appears that the majority of members do want to continue stopping there.
Finally it was agreed that the choice of one of our four games would be either Mancs/Everton or last home game and it was decided by a majority that the Mancs game would be the one requested. When the fixture list is published we will discuss on the forum the other three games.
From the floor a question was asked about part reimbursement of the Wigan ticket because member paid full price but got cheaper tickets. Nathan will discuss this further with the committee during the close season as he wishes to recommend a new idea. Details will be announced at the August meeting.
LFC are tightening up on the PTS this year and anyone who has a PTS will not get a ticket to enter the stadium but will have to show their fan card & ticket printout instead. This is to combat touting.
Membership subscriptions for 2007/2008 season will remain at £5 adults & £2.50 children.
An attendance register will be introduced for the new season which will give loyalty to those who attend the meetings on a more regular basis. The selling of tickets on the forum will continue but the rules will bit looked at by the committee in the close season as there may be some changes including a minimum past requirement.
Date of next meeting Monday 13th August 2007 at The Railway Club
