Chairmans report

The Chairman welcomed everyone to the new venue and explained the facilities available together with plans for possible pub games competition.

A suggestion box was placed at the bar for those members who did not feel comfortable speaking at the meeting.

Future raffles and scratchcards were discussed.

The newsletter for the Wigan game will be a joint effort from the committee and future newsletters for next season will be discussed at a later date.

Ticket managers report

Tickets for the Wigan game will be on sale on the forum on 21st Feb (35 tickets) with the remainder available at the March meeting. Members were asked to ensure they brought full payment for ticket and coach to the next meeting.

The members only ticket section on the forum was explained.
The use of loyalty on fancards was explained and highlighted that it appears only loyalty games were recorded for branch games.

It was highlighted how important it is to commit to a ticket when one is ordered on your behalf. It takes unnecessary time and effort chasing people for money and in cases where people have been unable to go the club has lost money.

Other items.

A provisional date of 18th May had been set for Jan Molby function at the Railway Club. Ascaris will be asked to provide the catering.We are awaiting final details but the cost of tickets is likely to be£15. Further information will be posted on the forum. All members were asked to help sell tickets for the function as it is important that we at least cover our costs on this.

A supply of Jan Molby books will be purchased as raffle prizes with the opportunity to have them signed on the evening.
